ねー！ホカベン was really good! LOL I think I just found a favorite actress: 上戸彩. She was really believable1, and the screen adaptation seems nicely paced. Not that I’ve read the 漫画, but still. I liked how the first episode turned out. Fast enough to both get to know 堂本灯 and not be boring. Especially considering I am a major idiot and don’t understand too much Japanese - which is a setback when watching a show about lawyers, ’cause the dialogue matters.

However, I did manage to get the gist of it.
